The central laboratory

The central laboratory is a public workspace providing various experimental instruments, technical services, and research collaboration to all faculty and students. It is located on the 7th to 9th floor of the research building and consists of four major platforms (molecular biology platform, oral microbiology platform, cellular biology platform, and histomorphology platform), a certified SPF animal laboratory, a tissue sample bank, and a management office that is responsible for daily operation. Each platform is under the charge of a senior researcher, assisted by intermediate researchers and technicians. The major instruments include Micro CT, Field emission scanning electron microscopy, Hard tissue cutting, and grinding system, Laser confocal microscope, Laser microcutting system, Bone morphology analysis system, Flow cytometer, Dynamic real-time live cell monitoring system, and other various other common equipment.
