Third Clinical Division

Peking University Hospital of Stomatology Third Clinical Division is the third branch of the main hospital. This organization specializes in comprehensive oral therapy and also undertakes teaching and research tasks. Established in 2003, it is located on Floor 2 & 3, Block A, Golder Plaza, Garden Road East No.10 Haidian District, Beijing, with a total area of 3325.6 square meters and 41 dental units. As a state-owned, non-profitable medical organization as well as a designated special hospital under the Beijing basic medical insurance system, the Division is currently carrying out the general medical quality management system and charge scale of the parent hospital.

There is a staff of 151 in the Third Clinical Division, which encompasses 62 doctors (89% with an education background of Masters or above) and 71 nurses. The medical team of the clinic is composed of a number of experts and specialist physicians, and many of the staff were merit graduates of the Peking University School of Stomatology. Thanks to its rational disciplinary management and resource integration, the Third Clinical Division has now set up Department of Geriatric Dentistry I, Department of Geriatric Dentistry II, Department of Geriatric Dentistry III, Department of Orthodontics and Department of Pediatric Dentistry, thus forming a comprehensive medical care structure that specialized in oral therapies. In addition to the regular treatment such as dental cleaning, tooth extraction, caries therapy, prosthodontics and orthodontics, invisible-lingual and invisialign orthodontic treatment, CEREC CAD/CAM project, tooth bleaching, endodontic treatment with microscope and dental implantation are also performed.

The Third Clinical Division adopts advanced sterilization equipment, strictly performs the aseptic procedures, maintains a rigid sterile standard and effectively prevents and controls inner-hospital infections in order to ensure the medical security. On the premise of guaranteeing the medical quality, the Division and its hard-working team have built up an enviable reputation among the patients with their outstanding techniques and notable ethics.

The Third Clinical Division has always pursue the patient-focused philosophy, committed to the serving and caring of the customers, and put a series of measures into practice, such as telephone and APP reservation and telephone appointment via parent hospital services, which relieves the registering congestion in a great manner and gives the priority to the senior patients.

The public hospitals are obliged to keep a close eye on and take the responsibilities of the society. The Third Clinical Division is performing as a publicity center of the parent hospital, actively carrying out public benefit activities. The Division is dedicated to releasing people from their dental sufferings with professional knowledge and skills, and to carrying forward hospital motto.
