History

The Statistics Section of Records was established in 1996 and officially operated independently in 2006. It is a medical technology department with management nature, consisting of registration room, medical record room and statistics office. In 2015, according to the department adjustment of the hospital, its registration room and statistics office were spun off, and be officially renamed the medical record management department.

Job Responsibilities

In charge of medical record copying, collection, sorting, classification, coding, registration, filing, storage, supply, statistics and information services. Assist the hospital to improve the quality of medical records, and provide services for clinical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care and hospital administration. Carry out the inpatients follow-up work, including routine and special follow-up. Offer essential information service for medical insurance, industrial injury appraisement, public security, prosecution and justice etc.

Our hospital has more than 1.17 million outpatient medical records and more than 140 thousand inpatient medical records. Now we have completed the scanning and electronic storage of all inpatient medical records and part of outpatient medical records, which can be used for clinical and scientific study. We have also established the electronic management system for outpatient medical record.

Staff Composition

There are 23 staffs (7 formal workers and 16 contract workers) now, 1 with doctor degree, 3 with master degree, 11 with bachelor degree and 8 had junior college education. 1 staff has senior professional title, 8 staffs have intermediate professional title, and 14 staffs have junior professional title. According to the work arrangement, the department personnel are divided into two groups: outpatient medical record group, inpatient medical record group.
