The Clinical Laboratory Department of Peking University School of Stomatology dedicates to providing services of routine clinical testing of samples of all received inpatients and outpatients.

It comprises of five labs including Clinical Biochemical Lab, Immunology Lab, Hematology Lab, Microorganism Lab and Blood Transfusion Lab.

The Laboratory carries more than 60 ordinary detection items.

All five professional groups have passed External Quality Assessment supervised by the National Center for Clinical Laboratory and Beijing Clinical Laboratory Center.

The Laboratory is equipped with advanced laboratory facilities including but not limited to Sysmex Blood Cell Analyzer, Sysmex Coagulometer, Roche Urine Analyzer, Hitachi Biochemistry Analyzer, Roche Electrolyte Analyzer and Abbott ARCHITECT i2000SR.

In 2008, the Laboratory achieved ISO15189 medical laboratory accreditation issued by CNAS with 52 laboratory projects reaching the standard.

1.Blood Cell Analysis, Blood Coagulation Analysis, Blood Type Identification.

2.Clinical Testing of Urine and Excrement.

3.Biochemical Testing of Hepatonephric Functions,Blood Lipid Test and Blood Glucose Test.

4.Hepatitis B Test, HCV Antibody Test, Syphilis Test and HIV Antibody Test.

5. Immunoglobulin and Anti Nuclear Antibody spectrum test.

6.Cultivation and Identification of Bacteria and Fungi.
