INTRODUCTION
Peking University School of Stomatology was established in 1941.
The nation’s first school of its kind, it was at the time the dental clinics of the medical college.
Today, it is an expansive and highly-regarded institution in its own right, encompassing not only the School itself but one of China’s leading research institutes and the stomatological hospital which is currently the largest in the world.
Over the years, Peking University School of Stomatology has fostered generation after generation of elite, forward-thinking professionals in oral health education, clinical service, research, and preventive care.
Its motto: To serve mankind with integrity, diligence, and skill! has been impressed for decades upon faculty, staff, and especially students.
At present, the School both continues actively to develop and promote domestic oral-health initiatives and collaboration and is striving more than ever to increase and improve international relationships as well—ideally, in ways which prove not only immediately mutually beneficial but innovative and lasting.
